Surprise Baby Shower – California 10/18/15

I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. FACT.

I was seriously brought to tears by the love of my amazing friends this weekend! When my day started, I thought I was taking my dearest friend Jade McAdams out to brunch as a belated birthday celebration for her at Coral Tree Cafe in Studio City. Jade picked Mia and me up at my dad’s and we headed across town so that I could grab the sandwich I have been craving for months. After an amazing feast, much missed conversation, and a few refills of ice tea, we headed back to my dad’s house to meet up with our friend Darbi and start a relaxing afternoon by the pool.

As we pulled up to the house, I noticed there were a bunch of cars on the street, however I didn’t recognize any. As I opened the door I was in COMPLETE SHOCK to see all of my girlfriends standing there and saying “Surprise!” Fun note – I had been trying to coordinate for MONTHS with these ladies and every single one had a legitimate excuse for why they would not be able to get together the weekend I was in town! I had been so super bummed that I wouldn’t be seeing any of their faces, so when they were all there at the same time my little heart couldn’t handle it! I broke down sobbing (tears of happiness of course) and proceeded to steal much needed hugs from all of my very missed friends!

Apparently Darbi was the organizing culprit and  had been coordinating with Patrick and the girls for months behind my back to make this party happen. The decorations were amazing, including an awesome homemade diaper cake by the one and only DeMesha Hardy, and complete with photo booth and Pin the Sperm on the Egg. I was so in shock and still get emotional thinking about how lucky I am to have such amazing women in my life as my friends!

I love you ladies to the moon and back and don’t know where I would be without you! For reals, you guys are my world!!!
