Meet Daisy Rose!

Say hello to the newest member of the family – Daisy Rose Bauer Ferrara Miller (full name credit to Miabella)

As some of you may have heard (because she won’t stop talking about it), Miabella has been asking for her own pet since we’ve relocated to Georgia. While she first thought she wanted a kitty (Patrick was not about to let that happen), she eventually moved on to wanting everything from a bunny to a pony to a puppy. While we would love to get her a pony, and with Ally’s insanity it just may happen one day, we decided that a puppy would be the most logical choice.

Over the past few weeks, Miabella has been working extra hard to show us she is “grown up” enough to handle the responsibilities of a cute little pet by taking on extra chores, helping sweep around the house, and showing us she can get herself ready for school and bed without being asked 500 million times to brush her teeth. Since she has been doing SO well, we’ve decided to reward her hard work with the precious little face now known as Daisy Rose!

Daisy is a rescue pup from Clover Run Rescue located up in Jefferson, GA. Every weekend, they are out in John’s Creek with just he cutest puppies that have been rescued from kill shelters. We first met Daisy a couple weeks back when Mia wanted to go in to ‘just look’ at the animals. Ally saw Daisy out of the corner of her eye and later was in touch with the shelter. Daisy comes from a litter of all boys and is the sweetest and most calm of the bunch. It took a couple of weeks to get the details and specifics locked down, but on 11/7/15 Daisy was officially adopted by the Miller family! She is anticipated to stay this size (all 13.5 pounds of it!) and we couldn’t be happier with our new girl!

Fun fact: Mia is extremely excited that Daisy now brings the balance of the Millers in favor of the ladies with 3 girls to 2 boys.
