Surprise Downtown Adventure Day

Since Mia has been doing SO well in school and such good listening around the house, we decided to plan a fun family day of surprises! We started of the day with brunch at the Sun Dial Restaurant in downtown Atlanta. The restaurant is located on the 72nd floor of the Westin, and rotates through your meal so you get a 360 degree view of the city. Ally has wanted to check this place out since moving to ATL, so it seemed like the perfect choice for our fun family day!

After an amazing meal and a full view of the city, we surprised Mia with tickets to see Disney on Ice. She was over the top excited to go and see her favorite characters and she danced and sang along with all the songs. Her favorite part of the show was the Frozen bit (shocking, I know) and she loved waving to all the princesses and princes as they skated by. Our seats were AMAZING in the 3rd row, so she had the perfect view to see all of her favorite stars. The show was adorable and went by pretty quick so parents didn’t have to sit and suffer for long!

Once the show wrapped, we made our way down to the Atlanta staple restaurant called The Varsity. They make the most delicious chili cheese dogs you will ever have! Mia was excited to get a hat and be among the hustle and bustle of the counter and stuffed her face with a cheese hot dog (chili on the side).

I love dedicating weekends to family times like this. It is so great to make memories together have a blast while doing it! I also love how amazed Mia gets at everything. She has the sweetest attitude and can have so much fun with any activity! Can’t wait for our next adventure day……
